Prayer for my Granddaughter
Loving heavenly Father, Thank You for the gift of my precious children and what a privilege it is to see my granddaughter (name) growing up and learning about You. Thank You Father for her life and I lift it up to You Lord and pray that by Your grace and love You would surround her with Your love, throughout her life.
Guard and guide her I pray and uphold and protect her. May she come to know You Lord as her personal Savior, and may she come to a deep understanding of all You are and all that You have done for her - Oh Lord I pray most earnestly that she would accept You into her heart and life as her Lord and Savior.
I pray that as she grows into her teens and become a young adult that You would keep her heart and mind turned to You and trusting in Jesus, for her every need. Protect her from the philosophies and mindset of the world that are so contrary to the truth of Scripture, and may she grow in grace and become strong in her faith as she develops in wisdom and discernment.
Protect her from the evils of this age, keep her from temptations and help her to live a godly life and to develop as a responsible adult who will teach her own children the wonderful truth of Salvation through Christ Jesus our Lord, Amen.
